Charlie began playing piano at age 5 and started taking lessons two years later. By the age of 9 years old he was playing for a church choir and within a year was playing for church services. His first professional performance occurred when he was 13. By age 15, he was playing for performances of the Greenville Little Theatre (Greenville, SC) and playing professionally with bands. His first recording happened when he was just 16 and he started composing at 17. By the time he graduated from high school, Charlie had done more than what most musicians can accomplish in a lifetime. But, he didn't stop there!!! Charlie went off to college to further enhance his career and music education. His first stop was North Greenville College where he earned an Associate Music Degree. From there he went to Belmont University in Nashville, TN, earning a Bachelor Degree in Commercial Music and Music Business. He then earned a Master of Music Degree in Piano Performance from Western Kentucky University. Charlie has worked as a recording session producer, player, and session leader since 1982. He has also done arrangements for professional orchestras since 1983. Since 1992, he has owned and operated his own recording studio. He has produced, performed, arranged, composed and recorded for clients such as Delta Airlines, Michelin, MCI, U.S. Dept. of Defense, Sony Records, NBC, and Denny's. Of recent note, Charlie recorded the track for the winner in the Miss S.C. 2000 Pageant. Like I stated earlier, words simply can't describe some things. However, there is a saying in the music business that can describe Charlie Miller and his talent....."Let the music do the talking" Patrick Blackwell - Sony Recording Artist and
